Whoo~
Been a LONG time since my last update...
*kekeke*
I haven't been updating because of...
Take home exams for a BCM (Bible College of Malaysia) night class...
Spending a whole week taking pictures of screaming kids during VBS...
Sleeping to recover from exhaustion...
And some other "reasons"...
*hehehe*
Today I'll be posting about...
Vineyard Resource Awards Night 2008~ Whoo~
(I'm writing about it because there are things I want to say at the end...
Skip right to it if you don't want to read the summary of the event...)
After weeks of chaotic preparation...
The appointed day came...
The 13th of November was the date...
...
Presenting~
...
...
...

Usually we have a pot bless (or is it pot luck) to feed the parents...
But this year we decided to have...
Candle light dinner~
We got Lee Oriental (or something like that) to cater food for us...
Can't remember what was on the menu though...
*keke*
Joseph was once again our MC for the night...
Along with Delaney too...
We started the night with an opening prayer by Desmond...
Delaney's youngest brother...
And next up was worship...
I had been given the opportunity to lead worship again this year...
Which makes it my third and last time leading worship during awards night...
But this time I had a co-worship leader...
Timothy... He played the guitar along with me...
On the keyboard: Mishie~
On the piano: Samuel~
On the violin: Joseph~
On the bass: Brandon~
On the drums: Derick~
Backup singer: P-chan~ (Phoebe)
After worship was dinner~
Did I mention we had to serve the guests?
Most of us did except for a few individuals...
Rachel and I were some of those individuals...
She was the event manager and I had to be at the PA system...
*kekeke*
Our napkin/handkerchief folder: Cedric~
As the parents were having their dinner...
The Juniors skit was next on the program...
They presented a female version of the parable of the prodigal son in modern times...
Claudia was the prodigal son daughter...

Right after the Juniors skit was a dance presentation by both the Juniors and Seniors...

There were some hiccups here and there during the performance...
But all of them looked great~
Good job guys~
Next on the programs list was the Seniors skit~ Whoo~

Joshua was our main actor this year...
Behind Joshua and Joseph (in the coat and shorts respectively)...
Is the mourning crowd for my brother's "demise"...
Although they look "sad"...
But in actual fact they were laughing silently~
After the Seniors skit was a song presentation by Carmen (left) and Claudia (right)...
They both can sing pretty good for their age...
Especially Carmen...
Her voice is so mature as compared to Claudia...
But Claudia was pretty good too...
Keep training up your vocals girls~
You two got potential there~
Next was graduation speeches by two of the graduates this year...
Joseph
And...
Myself...
There were others who graduated this year too...
But due to time constraints...
We could only allow two students to give their graduation speech...
Then came the award presentations
First up was the Juniors category...

(Stunned faces~ XD)
Followed by the Seniors category...

Michelle's father gave a short speech too before the event ended...

And this is us...
The Senior class of 2008~
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It has been 8 years since Vineyard Resource was first started..
...
Many of us have already come and gone...
...
But there are some things we can never forget...
...
The unique people we've met...

The weird things we have done...
The bonding sessions...
...
And though we'll all take different paths in the time to come...
...
But there is one thing that will always remain...
...
The friendships~

And the memories...

...
...
...
We are the students of Vineyard Resource~
And this is our story~
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
P.S.
I mentioned earlier that I wanted to write about something...
But I'll keep that for another post...
*nyehehehe*
P.P.S
I wanna change my blog layout...
Any volunteers?
*keke*
More to come:

My Birthday week
(I know it's late but I wanna make some acknowledgements there)
Karaoke trip(?)
Dedications
